In its effort for the continuous improvement of the area within which it operates, as well as in the context of its ongoing strive for the continuous improvement of the working environment of its employees, EUROPA PROFIL ALUMINUM S.A. compliments the systematic application of its environmental planning and practices with other environmental and social initiatives. Specifically:

Forestation

Our company has just finished planting 600 olive trees, which are added to the already existent 400 pines and pomegranate trees. The choice of the specific variety of trees was made following a geoponic study which considered, among others, issues of climate and the local flora.

Creation of an organic forest groove

The aforementioned forestation refers mostly to the creation of an organically grown olive groove. Its irrigation will be safeguarded by the preservation of the completely neutralized, clean and continuously monitored water derived from the company's facilities. Thus, in conjunction with the preservation of resources which are apparent from our Environmental Practices, the company is further improving its efficient use of natural resources.
