An important initiative was taken by EUROPA. In November 2012 EUROPA offered to replace the old frames of the Giona mountain retreat. Combining corporate responsibility and the proof of EUROPA Hybrid systems’ superiority, the company dared to test its products in the most severe climatic conditions, at an altitude of 1850m and temperatures as low as -20 ° C.
After that, an effective communication plan, combining traditional media and social media, took place, reaching EUROPA’s target audience.
Through a specially organized microsite, full of photographs, films and other material regarding the CSR action and EUROPA Hybrid Systems’ advantages, the media campaign included TV spots, printed ads and social media campaigns.
Thus, EUROPA managed to increase within six weeks its brand awareness and to promote EUROPA Hybrid Systems’ advantages to a selected target group.
The Giona Project was implemented with the contribution of TenFour advertising agency and MATH studio. Giona Project’s success proves that even at hard times, there is always room for creativity and innovation.
